Four pupils from the Green Schools Committee recently travelled to Dublin to participate in a Marine Environment Workshop. The problem of plastic waste and its impact on our rivers, seas and oceans was discussed.
Solutions to reducing plastic waste were explored. For the final part of the workshop the pupils put an Action Plan together and used waste plastic to create a great piece of art. They happily named the octopus Octo! Well done to our Green Schools Committee members for representing the school.
