Our annual book week takes place in October. This involves many exciting activities based on developing the love of books and reading.

 

Events include in-class literacy activities, book cover design and poetry competitions. We also have author visits, and our much loved book fair, where the children can buy the latest books while the school earns reward money to buy books for our class libraries.

 

The final day of book week is our ever popular Book Character Dress Up Day. The children dress up as favourite book characters and a whole school parade takes place up on the pitch, with winners chosen from each class.
